Daily practice

Added on by bubiknits.

I recently read the sentence: Practice makes Perfection so the 2P - Practice and Perfection - echoing in my head since then.

I took Lisa Congdon's "31 days of drawing" e-course in January on Creativebug - , I enjoyed it so much! It make me felt part of a big and very positive community, I discovered- new to me - very talented artists and illustrators from all over the world that boost my IG following as well.
I also realized that taking this course has enriched my shetchbook with a full bunch of inspirational themes that eventually could be used on my own surface and textiles pattern design motifs.

And yes, the daily practice improved my skill, put me in the right flow and I am currently maintening the habit of draw something each day. It could be a single sketch or doodle, or a whole paint board. I just sit at my table, gather my favorite archival ink pen, my current Midori traveler's note/sketchbook, some jelly roll pen and I start drawing.

I don't know if Creativity is like Life, someone said that Life begins at the end of your Comfort zone... I like to feel comfy when I am creating art instead. So I usually do it sipping my favorite tea or tasting a cup of coffee and in general i like to dress in a comfort way, so my gym pants and sweater are perfect for the purpose.

I guess this is the way many of you relating with that thing, am I right?
